PHYSICAL FITNESS TEST

California Physical Fitness Test (PFT) is required for 5th, 7th and 9th grade

PFT Fact Sheet

Each school in Vista Unified will set their own schedule as to when they will test their students. However, the test will be administered sometime during the months of February, March, April, and May.

 ELPAC
Planning for the English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC) is already underway at Vista Unified. ELPAC has two types of assessments; ELPAC Initial and ELPAC Summative. Preparation for both has begun in earnest.

ELPAC Initial
Although there are behind the scenes adaptations and adjustments to the COVID-19 environment, the test will look and be administered in much the same as past years. If you have a potential student for the ELPAC Initial, your family will be contacted to schedule assessment. If you have not been contacted by mid-September, please contact your school principal.

ELPAC Summative
The planning for the ELPAC Summative is more complex, but was administered as planned in the 2020-2021 school year. It will again be administered in the spring of the 2021-2022 school year.
